In March, about 130 of our pupils journeyed to London to see many of the famous sights. We travelled by overground train, underground train and boat. We watched the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, had a picnic in St James' Park, met the horses in Horseguards Parade, watched St Stephen's Tower as Big Ben chimed 2 o'clock and sailed down the River Thames from Westminster to Tower Bridge. Paddington Bear accompanied the children on all their travels so that he would be able to show Aunt Lucy around when she arrives from Peru. Great fun was had by all!
