KS1 concluded their pirate theme this month. Having finally tracked down the location of the treasure, they discovered that Captain One-Eyed-Wilkinson had beaten them to it! The captain tried to work out which ship crew (class!) was the best and most deserving of the treasure. Tests of bravery, crews' log books, code breaking, cannon ball races and cocktail making showed that every pirate was worthy of reward, so in the end, everyone had a share of the booty!
The EYFS joined in the piratey fun for one afternoon during which the children watched an exciting adaptation of 'Treasure Island'.
