loads more fun than the school run

One bus currently runs from Alicia Walk (Alicia Bus) and has several stops on the way. The children really enjoy walking and chatting with their friends before school. The parents benefit from a more flexible timetable, knowing their children will be safely escorted to school (although many parents walk every day). The children also receive regular gifts for walking on the bus.

We always need more volunteer parents. All volunteers are CRB checked and receive road safety training.

We would like as many children as possible to join the walking bus but it is dependent on the number of parent walkers. There is the possibility of reinstating the walking bus from The Memorial Park and the Shotgate bus.

If you would like to volunteer or would like your child to walk please ask at the office for details.
