Hilltop Infant School…‘outstanding’…again!

Hilltop Infant School is delighted to announce that the recent Ofsted inspection has once again confirmed its status as an outstanding school.

As is clear from news reports, attitudes and approaches to education are constantly moving forward. It is vital for schools to keep pace with changes, assessing how effective new initiatives will be for their specific circumstances. By receiving the mark of an outstanding school in both 2005 and 2008, Hilltop Infant School has demonstrated that it thrives in such an environment and knows how to make the best decisions for its pupils.

When feeding back to the school, inspectors joked that they had to work hard to find sufficient words that mean outstanding to avoid their report sounding too repetitive! The staff, governors, children and families are very proud of their school and the learning that takes place there. “To have our work formally acknowledged and our school held up as one of the best is very exciting!” declared staff.
